PeopleLink announced strategic updates to its WebRTC based video collaboration platform with InstaVC version 4.0. First launched in June 2015, InstaVC reached its 4.0 release with a simpler, more intuitive interface and extensive integration and customization options. The cloud services were rolled out initially for the North and Latin America markets, where demand was strong for collaboration tools that need no software download and work on any device.

InstaVC 4.0 launched under PeopleLink Virtual Meeting Room (PVMR), a simple to use video collaboration platform combined with a centralized bridge to deliver a consistent meeting experience on any video device, with no external application to download. The release added vertical specific options such as instant meeting and training suites with advanced data and user collaboration features for more interactive virtual meetings.

PeopleLink also extended this technology into healthcare with a dedicated consultation portal, an early step toward the telemedicine work PeopleLink continues today through its healthcare and inClinic solutions. For general business communication, PeopleLink video conferencing solutions carry the same browser based, customizable approach forward.
